i get recurrent ear infections from allergies, and it affects my hearing and causes dizziness. is there anything natural i can do for this, or do i have to keep doing the doctor thing and taking antibiotics?
I did do ear candles before, and they helped some. It was a very relaxing experience too.

ear candles, make sure you have a friend help you. They make your ears feel 100% better after doing it and it is soothing feeling. The candles remove the wax from deep within the ear canal which a q tip can’t get to. Find them at local health food stores or vitamin shops.

Question by Gypsy: What is a natural cure for miliary dermatitis?
He is 4 years old, had this last year and it cleared up. he has longish hair, and had a real bushy tale, but it has lost much hair from constant licking, He also threw up 6″ hair balls, but not lately. Now he throws up food occasionally, right after eating it. I started giving him a raw egg yolk, organic and free range. Is that good? also a little avocado, separately. His mother was feral and very sick while precgnant but I was able to cure her. My other cat who was feral, won’t touch those items

Besides elevating your feet to allow the fluid collected in the legs to go to the circulatory system and from there to the kidneys for excretion, here is what I have on Edema (yes, it is copied and pasted, but it is copied from my own website)
Edema is swelling that is caused by fluid trapped in your body’s tissues. Edema happens most often in the feet, ankles, and legs.
Common Causes of Edema are:
Low potassium levels
Congestive Heart Failure
Lung, kidney, and thyroid diseases
Pregnancy
Edema can occur as a result of gravity, especially from sitting or standing in one place for too long. A way to test for edema, even if there is no swelling is to press the suspected area. Ankles are usually the first area affected. If you leave an indentation, edema is present.
If congestive heart failure is present, mix one teaspoon of cayenne pepper in half a cup of lukewarm water. You can use cayenne capsules if this is too difficult.
Exercising in a swimming pool is very effective. The water temperature should be 80 to 90 degrees.
Avoid diuretics. Though diuretics are effective for the flushing out of excess water in the people with the heart, kidney or liver disease, they can also cause rebound edema. Continuous usage will activate the salt and water retaining hormones and when stopped, these hormones are activated and cause water retention.
Diet is very important. Avoid salt and processed foods, pizza, fast foods, junk food, sodas, etc. Avoid salt and eat a low carbohydrate diet. Salt causes body to retain water. Carbohydrate has more water content. Eat protein and fat rich food. Avoid fruits and vegetables because they increase the fluid level in the body.
Mustard oil is an effective home remedy for edema. Take some warm mustard oil and rub it on the affected areas. Soak 2 teaspoons of mustard seeds in water and apply the solution to the affected areas. Apple cider vinegar helps to remove excess fluid in the body cells and cavities.
Supplements which may help edema are potassium and bromelain.
Exercise as much as possible. Exercise has been shown to reduce the water retention by flushing out the water and salt through sweating, higher respiration and increased urine flow. Walking is excellent exercise. If there is shortness of breath while moving, do stationary exercises, such as pointing your toes downward, then raising them up as high as possible. This pumps up the calf and foot muscles. Raising your arms will also help.
Increase fluid intake. Water moves through the kidneys and bladder thus diluting the urine. It becomes easier for the kidneys to flush diluted urine out along with the salt contained in it. Plain water is the best option, since juices, sodas and colas have salt content.
Sip on herbal teas. Many herbs are slightly diuretic. Parsley is the best known one – and it has the added benefit of helping remove toxic heavy metals. Take two teaspoons of dried leaves for each cup of boiling water and steep for ten minutes. Drink three cups a day.

Question by dianesumler: Does anyone know a natural cure for coughing and congestion?
I have been coughing my head off for 3 weeks now since the weather changed. I don’t like to take regular medications, but have resorted to Theraflu for relief. I drink warm salt water too…that helps.
Anyone know of anything else natural that would help?

Use a netty pot. Or use saline spray when you wake up and before you go to bed to get rid of allergens. Wash your hair before you go to bed to get pollen out of your hair so it does not get on your pillow. Euclayptus in a humidifer at night to open you up. A teaspoon of local honey everyday. These will help allergies but will not cure a cold.
Best of luck

Question by moinjaang: Is there a natural cure for astigmatism?
Is there a natural cure for astigmatism or a proven way to prevent/reduce it?
Before you jump in i would like to state im already aware of options such as wearing glasses (spectacles), toric contact lenses, PRK and lasek eye surgery.
But i would to know if there is an alternative. Something less intrusive, more natural, that someone has personally used or know has been used successfully by another person.
Many thanks

There is orthokeratology, which is wearing lenses at night to flatten the eye and make you see during the day. It is expensive and can cause eye irritation.
I am not aware of any natural ‘cures’ for astigatism, which you have because it is a genetic issue, like the eye color and size of your foot.

Question by moca: Anyone knows a natural cure for skin tags?
I have these things called skin tags on my neck and they itch like hell. But my insurance doesn’t cover the removal of these skin tags because it’s considered cosmetic. Anyone knows a natural cure or an over-the-counter medicine I can use?
Best answer:
Answer by mm j
This tiny skin growth generally causes no symptoms unless it is repeatedly irritated as, for example, by the collar or in the crotch. I guess yours is irritated thats why it causes itching. In cases in which a skin tag is irritated or cosmetically unwanted, treatment may be done by freezing the tag with liquid nitrogen, tying off the tag with a thread or suture so as to cut off the blood supply, or cutting off (excising) the tag with a scalpel or scissors. I guarantee this would work but I highly suggest in tying it 1st.
